I could not be more pleased with the experience and results of working with your team. From the first meeting with Devon in our home to begin planning our remodel, to the friendly hug from Chris on the last day of completion, I have nothing but praise. I was told what to expect every step of the way, so there were no surprises. I witnessed first hand Gabbert’s Code of Values: Integrity – Respect – Customer Focus – and Having Fun In The Process. My husband and I both have mobility problems – the reason for the bath remodel. We initially wanted a walk in shower, raised toilet with a small stack washer and dryer in the linen closet. However, in discussing limitations and possibilities with Devon, we soon realized our small bath could not accommodate our real needs. With Devon’s expertise and advice we decided to completely demo the existing bath and the room next to it for a beautiful spacious, ADA compliant, wheelchair accessible shower with bench, raised stool with room and safety bars for transfer, roll to vanity which doubles as a desk, and full size washer/dryer laundry area with cabinetry. With floor plan complete, I enjoyed meeting with Caroline to choose flooring, textures, colors and fixtures. She pared the multiple choices to a few, making my decision easy and the end result beautiful. The preparation for the project was as promised with plastic carpet covering and complete covering of the openings of the demo area to prevent dust and dirt in other areas of the house. When subcontractors arrived for plumbing, electrical, paint and plaster, we were always introduced, kept apprised of their time and schedules and treated with courtesy and respect. The attention to detail by lead carpenter Chris, was impressive and appreciated. He measured the height of our walkers, and discussed how we would be entering/exiting the shower for proper and comfortable placement of all the safety bars; and how far we would need to reach for placement of the adjustable hand held shower. Even the transitions between flooring and carpet were open for discussion with concern for our walkers and to make sure they were visible but not look out of place. Whenever Chris noticed either of us needing assistance, like bringing groceries in from the car, he was eager to help, always told us not to be shy in asking for help if needed. The project took a little over four weeks, and I enjoyed every day of following the progress, learning, and anticipating the wonderful end result. I have not and will not hesitate to recommend C T Gabbert with high praise.

The C.T. Gabbert team recently finished my master bath total remodel & I could not be happier with the end result! From my first meeting with Caroline to the last day of remodeling she was always pleasant, informative & made me feel like I was important. So much fun to work with. Jesse was professional, always punctual & a perfectionist. He always kept me informed of what was going on & made sure I was happy with how the project was going. Typically home remodeling is a painful process but the C.T.Gabbert team made it as painless as possible. The workers were always on time, always kept me informed and were respectful of my home. They graciously answered all my MANY questions. Caroline is a jewel! She not only kept track of the project but how I was managing through it. I had a lot of fun working with Caroline! My project was a small ‘refresh’ of the kitchen and bath but the Gabbert team made me feel just as important as a total remodel. I’d be very pleased to work with them again!

The graduation party was a huge success with much love for the new kitchen. Everyone had something specific they really liked, but the windows were the #1 design feature most remarked on, and the countertops were a close 2nd. Close friends who knew our old kitchen recognized all of the functional improvements with space and flow. Lots of nice comments, also, about Kyle’s trim work and the window trim, especially.

The ‘Czernecki Porch project’ is complete and we are very pleased with the results; thanks to you and your fine dedicated staff that made it happen. No doubt, this was a detailed and complicated project and the Illinois winter winds at times were not in our favor. Yet with patience and perseverance, it got done. Caroline and Devon started the ball rolling as they did a great job in proposing ideas and sourcing all the construction materials for the project. The quality craftsmen: Jesse, Scott, Jorge, Jeff, and Pat were a pleasure to work with. Every day on the job, they each demonstrated their professionalism, friendliness, and a quality commitment in getting the job done right, while Joe kept an eye on the project plan flow. Also, special thanks goes out to Jesse who was extremely helpful in answering questions as they came up, offered great improvement ideas and found solid solutions to any issues promptly. Well done Gabbert Team! Thank you!

Chris did a fantastic job on our project. He did all the little things that really make for a professional job. A true craftsman. He was wonderful to work with, and a fun guy to be around. The other guys from tear-out to plumbing and electricians were also very good to work with – professional, courteous, and friendly. 30 Years ago friends built a deck across the back of my house. Now there were places that didn’t seem safe so now was the time to replace it, but replace it with what? And who do I talk to? Call C.T. Gabbert!! Call Chuck!! I felt like talking with Caroline was the most natural thing to be doing – I completely forgot how nervous I was before I called. A week later we were sitting at a table looking at my 3D adaptation of my new screened-in porch. Work began and Chris kept me informed about what was being done and what was coming next. He ordered a dryer vent cover in the color of the siding (The old one was white). This is the kind of care and detail he gave the whole project. I could go on and on. Chuck, I can’t tell you how many people looked at me and said, “You know you’ve hired the best” and I looked back at them and replied, “Yes, I do know.” Chuck, I have been in my home since 1965. I’ve been involved with many projects over many of those years. You and the team you have put together are the BEST!!!

We just wanted you to know how happy we are with our new kitchen. The remodel came together so nicely – from the countertop, backsplash, cabinets, and the flooring, we love it!! It’s so nice to be working in a brand new kitchen!

Just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with our new kitchen. From the design process with Caroline and Devon to the construction phase with Pat and Jesse all went well, and the results are beautiful. Jesse and Pat were very serious about every detail being just right. In addition you served us well by working together with the appliance company and the flooring company, Don also did a good job with the painting portion of the project.

We have lived in our home since 1988. I must say it has not changed a great deal. Deciding it was time to start, we walked into the showroom at C.T. Gabbert. Dreary to Dreamy Kitchen Chuck has a very creative mind and works well with what he’s presented… The difference before and after is incredible. It’s hard to describe the magnitude of the change and the beauty of the finished product.

C.T.Gabbert Remodeling completely remodeled our 1950s kitchen. Wow, they did a good job. Our lead carpenter Kyle worked through any challenges that this older home threw at him and really made our new kitchen everything we hoped it could be and more.
