A tight space with an oversized hood (that wasn’t properly vented!) made for a tight entertaining space! Removing the U-shaped kitchen layout and reorganizing the appliance locations, allow for a much easier and seamless entertaining space now! Removing the soffits allowed us to extend the cabinets to the ceiling increasing vertical storage. Their old pantry was located in the garage and by including the new dual pantries on each side of the refrigerator, the homeowners are now able to have all their pantry items and larger countertop appliances, inside where they belong!
