One of the things I liked most was when Chuck would come into the house and look around. He would spot things that we hadn’t even considered and incorporated those into the plan, and some of those are some of the things we like the most now. And then once the work began, the workers that came were the best. They were on time, they took care of everything, they gave us updates every single day, of how the work was progressing. Everything stayed on schedule, and we were just very happy with everything at the conclusion. Definitely talk to Chuck. His ideas are great, and I think that you’d be happy with anything he does for you.

You couldn’t find a more professional group of people, and in Chuck, there’s somebody who always takes your best interests to heart when planning and executing the project. He was very accommodating because we knew that the project would include a lot of demolition. We’d have to get rid of basically two walls for sure, and then as the project unfolded, we actually decided that we wanted to open up one other space. But the only wall that was there was a load bearing wall, and we thought, “Oh, we can’t do that.” And Chuck was able to say, “No, I don’t think that’s quite the case. Let me take a little look here.” We were able to cut back a wall that was a load bearing wall that he was able to do some creative work on to still maintain the integrity of that and still give us what we wanted in that area. So some things we weren’t even sure that we’d be able to do, we thought we might have some limitations, but those didn’t even turn out to be limitations. That made us very happy.

I knew immediately when I met him. I thought, Here’s a professional, a master craftsman, and he can get the job done and get it done right. He’ll always check back, “How’re things coming along?” After the project’s done, maybe in a month he’ll call back, “How are things with it? Is everything still good with the project?” And that means a lot, too. Like I said, it was our starter home 45 years ago, we’ve added some things and obviously, nothing lasts forever. You need new windows, new doors, a new roof. And I’m really happy with where we’re living and intend to stay there. That’s why Chuck Gabbert is the person I’ll call.

They came out and did the measurements, and then we went to Chuck’s studio. We brainstormed: Chuck was the brain, and we were the storm! Chuck has a very creative mind and works well with what he’s presented. We knew that they were making good progress, looking good. The difference before and after is incredible. It’s hard to describe the magnitude of the change and the beauty of the finished product.

Thank you for the remodel of our kitchen. Having it completed just before the holidays greatly improved our celebrations of the season. We appreciated the planning process that allowed both your innovative ideas while keeping features and fixtures that were important to us. In a small kitchen like ours, that could not have been simple. The design has greatly increased the storage we have available. We also appreciate the craftsmanship of those who worked on the site. On-site modification of the cabinets after they came was important to squeeze every inch out of the limit space we had available. It was the difference between wasted space and a hidden medicine cabinet. They always took care to prevent a mess from spreading and cleaning up what was left at the end of each day. Another important service to us was planning for temporary fixtures during the project. Having a temporary sink and counter made life a lot easier while construction was going on. Again thank you for your work. We have and will recommend you to our friends. I guess the best sign of our happiness with you would be this: When you have time, let’s talk bathroom.

Even though I’ve said these things to some of your staff, I want to make sure you personally hear how pleased I am with the way Jackie’s suite turned out. She loves it, and everyone who sees it is absolutely wowed. Above and beyond the quality of the work, you should know that the quality of your staff made for a great experience. Everyone was great to work with… All of them were always cordial and responsive, really a pleasure to work with. It was wonderful that Caroline took the time to see the completed job. She treated us like friends and not just customers.

The C. T. Gabbert team did an outstanding job on my basement remodeling project. I found several key differentiators from some other experiences I’ve had. First, every member of the team was very accessible and responsive, including Chuck, the designers, and the project manager. If they weren’t immediately available, they responded quickly to phone messages, texts and emails. Second, this team listens to what you want and then puts forth creative ideas to make it better. I ended up with a floor plan far superior to what I initially envisioned with little touches that just added some “Wow” factor. I would add that I had the same experience working with Chuck on a bath remodel years ago. He and his team just think of those finishing details that probably would not occur to the average homeowner. Finally, the onsite crew was outstanding. Anytime they thought of alternative ways to do things, e.g. how to treat an angled wall or a multilevel ceiling, they asked us what we thought would look best instead of just making the decision. They were also extremely polite and personable. My sister is thrilled with her new living space, and everyone who has seen it is wowed.

Amazing! That is how we would describe our experience with the C. T. Gabbert crew! We wanted to finish our basement and remodel our master bath. We had no idea what we wanted until we made a visit to Gabbert’s showroom. After talking with Chuck, Caroline, and Devon our “projects” started to take shape! They listened to our ideas and came up with a design that was exactly what we had in mind. The colors, finishes, and layouts were amazing from start to finish. When Chuck came to our home, he was able to give us ideas that totally fit our needs. He even let our little grandson help with the measuring. Our lead carpenter, Jeff, was very experienced and his work was so precise. He took the extra time to do a fantastic job. Absolute perfection! He made sure our floors were protected throughout the work area and he cleaned up the area every night. We were treated with respect and professionalism. That’s how the whole team treated us! Chuck, Caroline, and Joe stopped by on numerous occasions to follow-up on the progress and always asked our opinions and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The work ethic was impressive! We had workers here every day, Monday through Friday, not just every now and then. They were punctual and courteous. In the end, we have a beautiful master bathroom and a stunning basement and…. we have made lasting friendships. We will always be grateful for such a positive and fantastic experience! We cannot tell where the ceiling was patched and he made it a seamless wall. Gabbert Construction was responsive to our ideas. As your company slogan says “If you can think of it, we can do it” and you did!! We were really happy that the work was finished by the planned completion date.
